People - it is really time to move out of California, especially LA!

On Tuesday, July 28, the Los Angeles City Council voted 12-0 to ban the possession of firearm magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. Those who own them are to remove them from the city or give them up to police so the magazine can be destroyed.

California restricts the sale of standard capacity magazines (more than 10 rounds), which the state calls “large capacity.” In California and in Los Angeles it is illegal to buy, sale, manufacture, lend, give or import any magazine over 10 rounds. However, for magazines possessed before January 1, 2000, California residents may keep them.

But for those living in Los Angeles…not anymore.

Residents have 60 days to turn in their magazines or remove them from the city. Krekorian has said the new law will be enforced by the Los Angeles Police Department.
